Why I Do Energy Healing…

I have felt connected to healing work since I was 15. I began as a traditional nurse, inspired during a mission trip to an orphanage in Belize. As a nurse, I had moments over the years where I felt compelled to lay my hands on patients and pray for them. I felt a transfer of energy as they improved. I became fascinated with doing more energy work a few years ago when it was brought to my attention as a healing modality. Through trial and error, as well as training with Healing Touch and Reiki, I have used it effectively on myself and my family. I have formal training through a certification program called Healing Beyond Borders, and have studied Reiki under a Reiki teacher, earning certifications in both. After working with my family and myself for years, I realized that deep down I knew I should share my gift with others. I have really enjoyed learning and using the various modalities of healing, and look forward to continue learning.

What to expect…

Each session is different, just like you. We will discuss your situation briefly beforehand. I will tailor your session to meet your unique needs and preferences. First I will do a body scan using my hands. This will be lying down. I work from the information your energy centers provide. I might ask questions along the way, to get clarity. Sometimes I will touch you, with your permission, if an area needs attention. I do use some massage techniques. I will assist in balancing the energy centers in your body. You might experience a warm or cool sensation where I’m working. Some experience tingling or other sensations. Others don’t feel anything at all. Nothing will hurt. Please dress in comfortable clothing and expect to have your shoes off. Hydrate before and after the session. Each session varies in length, but average is 35-50 minutes.
